Bloggers using Sify and Tata services witnessed the blockade. The Government of India has requested for the blocking of some sub domains. According to blogger, freelance journalist, publicist and editor of Futuristic Media Network, Flynn Remedios, “I update and manage about 50 blogs for my clients, most of which are hosted on the Wordpress domain. All these have nothing but entertainment and lifestyle-related posts and have nothing to do with religion or politics. But they all have been blocked.” I cannot edit and or update anything on these blogs.” Remedios along with 20 bloggers have formed a forum called the Indian bloggers forum to protest against this and plans to file a PIL in the Supreme Court.
